Abrasive Wheels Safety Awareness

This course is suitable for anyone who uses abrasive cutting tools as part of their work.

These tools include grinders, chop-saws, skill saws, disc cutters and Stihl saws.

Once you have completed this course, you will:

• Be aware of the dangers associated with use of abrasive wheels.
• Know the legal framework related to abrasive wheels.
• Be aware of how to safely select and mount and abrasive wheel.
• Be aware of how to safely use a handheld disc cutter, or a cut-off saw.
