Health and Safety Training Fees – Group Bookings

To provide health and safety training in line with current legislation and recognised good practice.

Training will be delivered by a qualified trainer holding the following qualifications as a minimum:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate (General or Construction)
  • Actively working in a health and safety role (consultant, advisor etc.)

Some courses are strictly limited to 12 learners, but where it is possible to accept additional learners, an additional fee will the applied.

Training can be provided at our training room in United Downs, Redruth (TR16 5HY) or at your premises.

Prices (excluding VAT)

Please note, the above fees do not apply to first aid qualifications or CITB Site Safety Plus qualifications. Other qualifications and courses may be excluded at our discretion.

A typed attendance list must be provided at least 24 hours in advance of the course. Where CITB Training Grant is to be claimed, this must be done via our booking website.

Examples of training:

1 Hour

  • Asbestos Awareness Refresher or
  • Manual Handling Refresher or
  • 2 Toolbox Talks

2 Hours – Any combination of 2 x 1 hour courses.

3 Hours

  • Abrasive Wheels or
  • Work at Height Awareness or
  • Asbestos Awareness or
  • Manual Handling or
  • 6 Toolbox Talks

6 Hours – Any 2 x 3 hour sessions.

Where training is to be provided at your premises you must provide:

  • A dedicated, safe, quiet area
  • Adequate seating and desk space
  • Suitable temperature
  • Space for the trainers laptop, projector and screen

We reserve the right to:

  • Invoice for the course based on the attendance list provided in advance.
  • Ask learners to leave if they disrupt the course.
  • Invoice for excessive waiting time.
  • Invoice for additional preparation time (e.g. when presenting company specific procedures).
  • Refuse to deliver training if the venue does not meet basic requirements.
