Health and Safety Policy Arrangements – Site Traffic

The [Proprietor / Directors] of [My Company] will ensure that;

  1. An assessment is carried out and as far as is reasonably practical we will put in place suitable measurers to prevent, reduce or control exposure to personnel and others who may be affected by vehicle activities
  2. Successful management of construction vehicle activities is obtained by, the provision and maintenance of safe work places, suitable vehicles for the task, safe vehicles, safe drivers and safe work practices.
  3. Employees will only drive site vehicles if competent and authorised to do so
  4. Employees and traffic are kept apart as far as is possible
  5. Site induction training covers specified traffic and pedestrian routes where applicable
  6. This section should be read in conjunction with Section 5.2g. Plant and Equipment
