Workplace / Site Managers of [My Company] Will;

  1. Be responsible to the [Proprietor / Directors] for; ensuring the implementation of, and compliance with, the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and relevant legislation.
  2. Read the Company’s Health and Safety policy and understand the commitments made by the Company.
  3. Ensure adequate resources are available to the workforce to enable them to comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
  4. Investigate and record all accidents, incidents and/or near misses, with assistance from the company’s Health and Safety Advisor if required.
  5. Ensure suitable communication on Health and Safety matters is encouraged and maintained.
  6. Ensure that contractors and sub-contractors have the skills, knowledge, and experience and, if they are an organisation, the organisational capability, necessary to fulfil the role that they are appointed to undertake, in a manner that secures the health and safety of any person affected by the project.
  7. Ensure that suitable risk assessments are carried out and are available, and that any safe systems of work are adhered to.
  8. Ensure suitable induction training is given to new employees as soon as is reasonably practicable on joining the company.
  9. Ensure suitable induction training is given to employees and sub-contractors as soon as is reasonably practicable on each new site
  10. Ensure relevant Health and Safety records and documentation are available and kept up to date.
  11. Ensure adequate information, instruction and training is given to employees and sub-contractors when required.
  12. Ensure that appropriate plant and equipment is made available and suitably maintained in a safe condition.
  13. Carry out regular Health and Safety inspections of the workplace to ensure compliance with; Health and Safety legislation and the Company’s Policy
