How we deliver the Abrasive Wheels course.
Firstly, get in touch with us using any of the options below, so that we can discuss your requirements. We’ll also arrange where and when you would like to have the course delivered.
After the course is booked, we’ll email you confirmation and full instructions relating to the course. If we deliver on your premises, we only need a quiet room with enough seating space for all the delegates, and we will provide all the other equipment we need.
On the day of the course, we will arrive before the course starts so that we can setup our equipment. We deliver this course mainly using powerpoint slides and group discussion. There are also some exercises to do.
About half way through the course, we’ll have a 10 minute coffee break.
Once we have presented all the slides, we’ll get into the practical demonstration which covers inspection of the machine, inspection of the blade and mounting the blade on the machine. Each member of the group is observed by the trainer individually to make sure they follow the instructions.
On successful completion of the course, each delegate will receive a certificate of training. But please remember, it’s the responsibility of the employer to deem each person competent to select, mount and use abrasive wheels.
